What material is this Hoya arch support made of?

How do I properly install this arch support in my pot?

Push the two feet of the stake into the substrate, positioning them on either side of the pot, near the edges.

This arrangement creates a stable arch over the plant and leaves space in the center for root development.

Ideally, install the stake when repotting to avoid damaging the existing roots. If your Hoya is already in place, gently insert the stake, avoiding the central root ball.

Never force it if you encounter resistance, shift the position slightly.

Why does my Hoya need an arch-shaped support?

Hoyas are epiphytic plants which, in their natural habitat, cling to trees and climb towards the light.
