Laura Bruneau
Laura's Story
Nothing predestined Laura Bruneau to become a leading figure in France's plant revival. For five years, she worked as a nurse at Saint-Antoine Hospital in Paris. But a passion born in her childhood with her gardening grandparents in Picardy, and rekindled by trips to Thailand and Bali, eventually took hold.
In 2016, she began sharing her plant advice on Instagram on her account @le_jardin_de_laura.
In 2020, she founded Plant and Stories: France's first "plant truck," a mobile shop set up in a converted old truck.
The online shop plantandstories.com followed in 2021.
Together with her co-founders, she has developed a nursery of plants acclimatized in France and advocates for a more human relationship with plants: advice, education, and knowledge sharing. Co-author of "Indoor Permaculture" (Éditions Rustica, 2020), she now applies the same standards to outdoor gardens through Plant and Stories' guides.
