Help and solutions:

Everything you need to know "Bubble" ceramic planter – 9 cm in diameter

What material is this Bulle plant pot made of?

This planter is made entirely of glazed ceramic.

Ceramic is a natural material obtained by firing clay at high temperatures, which gives it strength and durability. The surface glaze creates a waterproof protective layer.

To maintain it, a simple wipe with a damp sponge is enough to remove dust or any traces of limescale.

Be careful of drops: like all ceramics, this planter can crack if it is subjected to a significant impact on a hard surface.

How to use this 9cm plant pot correctly?

Place your growing pot directly inside the Bulle planter.

The 9 cm diameter is designed to accommodate standard 6 to 8 cm pots, leaving a small gap for easy handling. This planter does not have a drainage hole.

After each watering, check that no water remains at the bottom and empty it if necessary. You can also place a layer of clay pebbles at the bottom to raise the pot.

Never plant directly in the cachepot without a nursery pot: the lack of drainage would cause excess moisture which is harmful to the roots.

What plants are suitable for this small planter?

This 9cm cachepot is perfect for young plants, cuttings and slow-growing varieties.

Small plants prefer a container that is proportionate to their root system: a pot that is too large retains too much moisture and promotes rot. This size is therefore ideal for cuttings that are in the process of rooting.

You can plant mini Hoya, young Pothos, small succulents, compact Peperomia or Tradescantia in the early stages of growth.

Avoid fast-growing plants that would require frequent repotting: favour species that remain naturally compact.

How can I prevent stagnant water in this planter without drainage?

Stagnant water is the main risk with a planter cover without a drainage hole.

When you water, excess water drains from the growing pot and collects at the bottom of the cachepot. If the roots remain in this water, they will suffocate and rot in just a few days.

Make it a habit to lift the pot 15 to 30 minutes after watering to drain any excess water. You can also water your plant over the sink, let it drain, then place it back in the pot.

Do not rely solely on the surface of the substrate: water may stagnate at the bottom without being visible.

What accessories can I pair with this Bulle planter?

This plant pot fits perfectly into a complete care routine for your young plants.

Cuttings and miniature plants need stable humidity to thrive. OurFine mist sprayerallows you to spray the foliage without soaking the substrate.

For repotting your young Hoya plants, theHoya premium potting soiloffers optimal drainage suitable for small root systems. OurLiquid fertilizerThe graduated pipette allows for precise dosing of small volumes.

Group several Bulle plant pots together to create a harmonious composition on a shelf or windowsill.

What is the difference between this cachepot and a pot with drainage?

The main difference lies in the management of irrigation water.

A pot with a drainage hole allows excess water to escape freely, reducing the risk of root rot. A cachepot, on the other hand, is a decorative container without a drainage hole, designed to hold a plant pot.

The Bulle plant pot cover therefore plays an aesthetic role: it conceals the plastic pot and protects your furniture from water stains. It also offers flexibility: you can change the plant pot cover to suit your decor without disturbing the plant.

Always keep your plant in its perforated nursery pot inside the cachepot, and never plant directly into it.
