What is the composition of the orchid potting mix for this duo?

Orchid potting soil is mainly composed of maritime pine bark, live sphagnum moss, and then supplemented with drainage elements such as perlite.

Unlike traditional potting soil that would suffocate the roots, this substrate remains aerated even after watering. Avoid adding garden soil, as this will compact the mixture.

How to correctly use orchid fertilizer with a pipette?

Take 1ml of fertilizer with the graduated pipette and dilute it in 1 litre of water at room temperature.

This precise dilution prevents any risk of burning the delicate roots of orchids. Too much fertilizer is more harmful than too little for these undemanding plants.
