Place your 2 'Las Vegas' orchids in a very bright location, but never expose them to direct sunlight: direct rays burn the leaves and discolor the orange flowers. An east or west-facing window, protected by a light curtain, offers the ideal location for the whole set.

💧 Soaking

Water each orchid by soaking once a week: immerse the growing pot in water for 15 to 20 minutes, then let it drain completely before putting it back. Never leave water sitting in a saucer or pot, or you risk rotting the roots.

💦 Humidity

Phalaenopsis appreciate a humid atmosphere. Mist the foliage and aerial roots, or place a tray of wet pebbles near the pots without letting them sit in water. Grouping the 2 plants together also creates a more humid microclimate that benefits them.

🌡️ Temperature

Maintain a temperature of 18 to 24 °C during the day, with a slight coolness at night. Keep your orchids away from cold drafts, radiators, and air conditioners, which dry out the air and weaken the blooms.

🪴 Repotting

Repot each orchid approximately every two years, preferably after flowering, in a special bark-based orchid potting mix, never regular potting soil. Choose a clear pot: Phalaenopsis roots photosynthesize and appreciate light.
